How much does WordPress maintenance cost?

Do I need a WordPress maintenance plan, or can I do the updates myself?
You can do them yourself, if you have the time and don’t mind fixing whatever breaks. Just don’t skip them. Most WordPress break-ins come through plugins that are out of date, and updates close those holes. It’s like the oil in your car: skip it for a while, and something breaks at the worst possible time. PJ Update is for owners who’d rather hand it off.
Can’t I just turn on automatic updates?
You can, but nobody looks at the site afterward. An automatic update won’t notice that your contact form stopped working. A person will. That’s the part of PJ Update you can’t automate.
What if a WordPress update breaks my site?
That’s why a person checks your important pages after every update. If something broke, we put it right, from a backup if we need to.
What if my site gets hacked?
Cleaning up a hack isn’t part of PJ Update, but we’ve got your back, and we’ll help you get running again as fast as we can. A site that’s kept up to date is a much harder target, and with regular backups, getting back up is faster and cheaper.
