Made for small business owners with a WordPress site
You’re great at what you do. Updating plugins isn’t it, and it shouldn’t have to be. Every evening you spend checking on your website is time you’re not spending on your clients, or away from work altogether.
- Updates pile up, and you’re never sure they got done
- You want to know the site can be put back if something breaks
- You’d rather spend your time doing great work for your clients
With PJ Update, we take that off your plate and keep the site running.
Putting off updates is how sites get hacked
Getting hacked is no joke. Most WordPress break-ins come through plugins that are out of date, and updates close those holes. So the easiest way to get hacked is to keep putting the updates off until next week.
It happens to good businesses. This fall, a site that came to us for PJ Update had already been hacked. Hidden spam pages and a secret way in had been sitting there for who knows how long, and the owner had no idea. We cleaned it up. With updates every two weeks and a real person watching, that kind of thing gets caught early, or never gets in at all.

A note from Jeff and Brandon
We’ve run Pixel Jar together since 2004 and worked in WordPress since 2007. We stay small on purpose, so a real person always knows your site by name.
We built PJ Update for owners who’d rather spend their time on their clients than on plugin updates. Your website shouldn’t be running your schedule. Hand the upkeep to us, and the site just keeps working.
Jeff Zinn and Brandon Dove, co-owners
